The time spent quilting in my life has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things I've had the pleasure to experience. During my early married years I found sewing to be a enjoyable way to earn extra income to help support our family. I spent many years doing seamstress work. Even earlier in my life I can remember helping my mom make quilts for the different fund raisers at church and else where. Mom used to have me help her with her quilts.

Today I find quilting such a fun thing to do. Its so amazing how you can take scrapes of material and with a little work turn them into something that useful and can be given to your loved ones friends or others as a treasured keep sake.
